Education and Training
Professional Background
Before her career in real estate, Linda enjoyed years of owning, building up, and selling successful businesses. Working closely with consumers, her professionalism, dedication, and accessibility earned her a loyal clientele. Although Linda always had an interest in home decorating, it didn't peak until she took a position as a Director of Marketing in the new construction industry. In this role, she worked in various capacities, gaining valuable experience in new construction, home design, and business development.
Transitioning to a real estate career was a natural progression for Linda, allowing her to utilize the managerial skills she had developed throughout her professional life. Most importantly, it gave her the opportunity to do what she loves: working with people.
Community Involvement
Linda is involved with many Autism organizations which offer support to families affected by Autism. Her most ambitious project, Gavin and Friends, named lovingly after her son, is a non-profit day program for adults with disabilities overseen by Sarah Tuxis. This program facilitates experiences essential to teaching life skills and pledges opportunities for expanding independence and fostering social interactions in a safe environment. For this work, Linda was honored to be given both the Chamber of Commerce Hometown Hero Award and the New Haven Middlesex Association of Realtors Community Service Award in 2022.
Linda also spear-headed the installation of the Project Lifesaver program to Guilford and other towns in CT. The primary mission of Project Lifesaver is to provide timely response to save lives and reduce potential injury for adults and children who wander due to Alzheimer's, Autism, and other related conditions.
In addition, Linda supports Tunnels to Towers which provides mortgage-free homes and builds custom designed smart homes for injured veterans, first responders and their families. She also organizes donations for the Veterans of America and contributions to Charity Cans.
